Fireside | Bar Soap
I gave this bar a 3 star rating because the quality of the soap is wonderful. Great smooth bar that generates lots of suds. However, the scent was this horrible burnt rubber scent that neither I or my husband liked. This bar we won’t be buying again. Good thing that we love almost every bar that DY makes.
Personally, this one isn’t my favorite. It’s very smokey. Maybe as time goes on, it’ll get better like Player? We shall see.

This has an amazing scent, it can get you going in the morning and can also help you unwind at the end of a trying day. No disappointment here.
I purchased a several products including deodorants, soap, and a beard balm. I love the scents and the quality of the products and was excited to try the bar shampoo, conditioner and a hand and body lotion (which I have now tried and love!). The second order never arrived and with just a quick email Dapper Yankee re-shipped the order, no questions (except asking me to confirm my shipping address) asked. I really appreciate a company that takes customer service seriously.
Wouldn’t buy again
You know that smell that's on your skin, your clothing, and your hair, if you're at a campfire or a fire pit all night?
This soap actually has that smell built into it. It's kind of funny to take a shower, but you still smell like you're at the fire pit. if this is interesting to you, I recommend this soap.

Decided to try something different. I'll say its a little too different for me. Literally smell like you came from the downwind side of a campfire. Does clean well and lasts linger than any of their competitors.

We've all sat around a campfire with our family and friends. Talking. Eating. Listening to music. Cold snacks in hand. That's what this scent reminds of. Nostalgia.
The soaps are all amazing and clean smelling. I ended up doing the subscription because I am enjoying the soaps and products.
When you first smell the soap, it's a bit overwhelming. But when you use it, the scent adapts to you. That being said, it may not be for everyone. Like all the scents, try the sampler and see which one is for you!

Are Dapper Yankee soaps all-natural?
Dapper Yankee offers natural products, but not all of our products are considered "All-Natural". In order to achieve some of our amazing scents and colors, we need to use man-made fragrance oils and colorants. However, many of these fragrance oils and colorants are still derived from natural products.
Unlike the other guys, we always want to be fully transparent with our products and that is why we don't use the term "All-Natural" in our marketing. We call it for what it is.
Are Dapper Yankee soaps antibacterial?
None of our soaps are formulated to be antibacterial. And to be completely honest, antibacterial soap is not better.
However, all of our soaps are effective in promoting good hygiene and helping to prevent infectious illnesses.

What is the shelf life of Dapper Yankee soaps?
The shelf life of our soaps is approximately 24 months. But It's best to use your soap before that time so you can get the most out of the fragrance; over time the scent may diminish. It's a good idea to store your soap bars in a sealed container in cool, dry place until you're ready to use them.
How long will the scent last on my skin after a shower?
How long the scent will last on your skin varies and is based on your body's own chemistry. Some may says the scent lasts for hours, while others may only experience the scent for a few minutes.
The scent of natural soaps is not intended to linger for very long after you use them. If you enjoy Dapper Yankee scents we recommend pairing them with a matching deodorant, lotion, or solid cologne. This is the best way to enjoy the scent long after your shower.
