Why-Men-s-Soap-Matters Dapper Yankee

Why Men's Soap Matters

As men, we often want to feel tough. We want to feel like we don’t need anything to be men, and that minimalism is key to masculinity. We forego proper skin care routines because we are told that it just doesn’t matter. If we don’t smell bad, then it’s all good.

Well gentlemen, that is simply not true. We already take enough risks in life. Maybe you are the type to cross a raging river on a rotting log, or maybe even someone that thinks they can wrestle Bigfoot. Those are the chances we take as men because of how we are built, but we don’t need to gamble on our skin. Quite simply, taking care of yourself to be around longer for your family is the toughest thing you can do as a man.

While there are many things that can improve our health and looks, let’s focus on soap today. I know that you are busy and want to go summit Everest or hit the lake to cast some lines, so let’s get right to it.

Why Soap Matters

One of the most outrageous things that men do is lather themselves up with colored goo that comes in a plastic bottle. We use it all over, even on our hair. We have all seen the lion meme that shows men using body wash on their hair and it turns out well, but let’s not fool ourselves, that is not reality. Shower gel, even if it’s a 5-in-1, isn’t made for hair. Have you ever heard of a jack of all trades, but a master of none? Yeah, that applies to these products. They do work for hair, but they aren’t beneficial for it.

You wouldn’t put any of those shower gels on your dog, would you? I should hope not. It’s not made for them, so why do we put it on our skin? We have just become men of routine without questioning what goes on our skin. By the way, Dapper Yankee products are never tested on animals. Furry critters are meant to roam the forests, not a cage in a lab.

The Benefits

Dapper Yankee carries natural soap with none of that green slime that reminds you of Nickelodeon in the 1990s. With skin nourishing oils such as olive, palm, coconut, and avocado, this soap is the real deal. They don’t skimp on ingredients to ensure you have the most satisfying shower and don’t smell like you just used some fruity-floral shampoo that makes you feel like a cheap candle.

Why do these oils matter? Well, for one, they are gentle on your skin. Your skin needs natural oils to stay hydrated and healthy. Many commercialized soaps contain ingredients that strip your body of these oils, and that leaves you feeling dry and itchy. Olive oil has been used since ancient times on both skin and hair, and it’s well known to contain vitamins A and E, which makes your skin healthy and happy.

Coconut oil helps to hydrate the skin, and it has even been shown to dissolve hardened sebum, which can lead to clearer skin. Palm oil is good for sensitive skin and helps to seal in the moisture barrier to keep your skin properly nourished. Avocado oil isn’t just a fad, it’s a fat, and a damn good one at that. This fruity wonder is said to be the most moisturizing of all the fruit-based oils.

All of these oils also make amazing cleansers that are gentle on your skin, while effectively washing away dirt and grime after a day of playing in the dirt. They even carry bars with natural grit like pumice and tapioca pearls to scrub away even the toughest of days in the field.

Finally, we have shea butter. You know that lotion that people use and swear by? Yeah, Dapper Yankee loads a bunch of that into their soaps. It’s fantastic for keeping your skin soft and youthful.

Made for Men, Not Boys

The best thing is that Dapper Yankee’s lineup is full of scents made for men. They know that you want to smell like a man, not a teenager or woman. With scents like Sierra Pine to unleash the explorer in you, Renegade for when you want to feel like an outlaw and Chillax for the times you just want to kick back and relax, they have you covered for every situation.

So, why does this matter? While having the leathery skin of a cowboy is certainly cool and manly, it’s not healthy. Having skin as dry as the Sahara is not fun. If you wear cologne, then dry skin will make your fragrances about as long as giving a dog a piece of steak, unless you use Dapper Yankee’s solid cologne, which are made with moisturizing oils. If you use your coins for a product, you should be able to enjoy it. Having heathier skin allows all those manly smelling products to do their job.

Donning that suit for your 9-5 and getting that back itch is annoying, and it makes you look silly. No matter what job you have, dry skin is no fun, and a good soap is your best friend in fighting it. Take your showering game back and turn your bathroom into a man cave fit for a king. Just don’t get rid of your wife’s products. No one likes sleeping on the couch.
