In the Dapper Yankee Facebook group, we get many questions. They typically range from questions about the products to when the Ohio State football will tank this year. Okay, I made that last one up. We have a lot of Ohio State fans, but I am a Clemson fan. Jokes aside, I thought it would be handy to just write an article and answer these questions as a reference point for those who are curious.

The best way to get an answer to a question is to contact the Dapper Yankee Facebook page or by sending a message through the Contact Us page. For everything else, hopefully this article helps. Pardon the dad jokes, we tend to love them.

Q: What are your best sellers?

People often inquire about what bars are the top sellers. Whie this can vary from season to season, these are the overall best sellers.

Wild Irish – Imagine the smell of the Irish countryside after a light spring rain. It’s the best seller, by far. Perfect for chasing rainbows to see if there are any spoils at the end!

Game Day- The best bar to cheer your favorite team on! Lemon, fir, musk, and vetiver highlight this touchdown worthy shower experience!

Engine 9 – A crisp and refreshing barbershop scent with cool mint, clean musk, and bergamot. Every purchase goes towards supporting our firefighting heroes.

Chillax – This one is one of our newer releases, but men work hard, and they deserve to chill even harder with a refreshing shower. The calming scent of lavender is accented by cool birch and fresh grapefruit to create the closest thing to a spa for men.

Arctic Blueberry – There are few things better than a handful of freshly picked blueberries, except the smell in the shower along with the chill of menthol. It’s the bliss of finding a wild blueberry bush on a hike in the forest while a cool breeze blows in. Yeah, it’s pretty damn good.

Q: Why does my soap have no smell?

While I personally wish it was cool all year long, it’s not possible. People commonly post about soaps not having a scent when they get them. The heat and being in a box for a few days can cause this. Let them cool off at room temperature, then take a big ol’ whiff.

Sadly, nature doesn’t stop, and it can play tricks on us, but luckily there are solutions. However, I would advise that some Dapper Yankee soaps do open up more in the shower, especially on the second use.

Q: Are your liquid shampoos pH balanced?

Yes, the liquid shampoo is pH balanced. It’s a natural blend that has been formulated and tested to leave your hair healthy and to not strip your manly mane of essential oils to keep it hydrated. It comes in three great scents - Whiskey Rebel, Chillax, and Glacier Ridge (my personal favorite of the line).

Q: What are your personal favorites?

Sierra Pine is by far my favorite. I am a nature guy, and I love coniferous scents. It’s actually something that I am known for in the fragrance world. There is nothing better than a walk in the woods and the smell of fresh pine in your lungs.

Humidor would be my second favorite. The rich, honeyed tobacco scent just screams masculinity. It’s like opening a brand-new cigar and inhaling the aroma to your heart’s content. It makes me feel like I should be wearing a suit sometimes, but who needs that when I can just make my shower smell like a man cave?

The last one would be the highly underrated Fireside. If you haven’t tried the new version, you should. It’s much more balanced and the smoky note is much more authentic. It reminds me of sitting around a smoldering campfire in the middle of an evergreen forest with a few cold ones. Just don’t forget to hang your trash, or you might get a visit from a hungry bear. Trust me. I know from experience.

Q: Can your soap cure a medical condition?

By law, Dapper Yankee soaps are used as a cleanser and only that. You could check out reviews to see if they helped anyone else, but it’s always best to consult a medical professional to discuss any diseases and treatments. You can always show them the ingredients and ask them if it’s a good fit for you.

Dapper Yankee has not been tested by the CDC and cannot make any medical claims, and any brand that does this without certification is breaking the law. Out of respect for our great country, Dapper Yankee stays in its own lane and just makes great soap that makes you smell a man.
