I was a little skeptical about a root beer-scented soap at first—would it be too candy-like or overpowering? Nope. Dapper Yankee absolutely nailed it with Root Beer Barrel. It smells incredible right out of the package—strong enough to make you smile every time you grab it, but once lathered and rinsed, it leaves a subtle, fresh scent on your skin that lingers pleasantly for hours without being cloying.
The soap itself is top-tier quality. Made with goat’s milk, it’s super moisturizing—my skin feels soft and hydrated after every shower, no tightness or dryness even in winter. This scent is good. I do not enjoy any of the others I bought except for Arctic blueberry. Root beer barrel was the first I tried and it suckered me into thinking all their scents would be good. Nope! Mostly only this one. But this one is real good. The bar consistency is a bit soft though.

Root Beer scent comes through, but not quite in the way I was hoping. Looking for a more refreshing scent with a bit more vanilla and didn't get that. Also, was a bit disappointed in the lack of lather. Looking forward to trying the other bars I ordered.

Are Dapper Yankee soaps all-natural?
Dapper Yankee offers natural products, but not all of our products are considered "All-Natural". In order to achieve some of our amazing scents and colors, we need to use man-made fragrance oils and colorants. However, many of these fragrance oils and colorants are still derived from natural products.
Unlike the other guys, we always want to be fully transparent with our products and that is why we don't use the term "All-Natural" in our marketing. We call it for what it is.
Are Dapper Yankee soaps antibacterial?
None of our soaps are formulated to be antibacterial. And to be completely honest, antibacterial soap is not better.
However, all of our soaps are effective in promoting good hygiene and helping to prevent infectious illnesses.

What is the shelf life of Dapper Yankee soaps?
The shelf life of our soaps is approximately 24 months. But It's best to use your soap before that time so you can get the most out of the fragrance; over time the scent may diminish. It's a good idea to store your soap bars in a sealed container in cool, dry place until you're ready to use them.
How long will the scent last on my skin after a shower?
How long the scent will last on your skin varies and is based on your body's own chemistry. Some may says the scent lasts for hours, while others may only experience the scent for a few minutes.
The scent of natural soaps is not intended to linger for very long after you use them. If you enjoy Dapper Yankee scents we recommend pairing them with a matching deodorant, lotion, or solid cologne. This is the best way to enjoy the scent long after your shower.
